Getting to Simferopol
Air
Simferopol's international airport, located about 15 minutes from the city centre is regularly being rebuilt in order to serve the increasing numbers of passengers. There are a number of direct flights to and from a selection of European capitals to Simferopol. From Kiev, St Petersburg and Moscow there are several daily flights.
Train
You can easily take the night train from Kiev to Simferopol. The trip takes about 16 hours. The railway station, which with its architecture and its unique bell tower has become somewhat of a symbol and tourist attraction for Simferopol, is in the middle of the city. You can reach the whole Crimean peninsula from here for shorter day trips or longer weekend trips.
Bus
You can get to Simferopol by bus from a few European cities. Check with you local travel agency for departures.
Transfer service
Naturally, you will be picked up at the airport or railway station, no matter when you arrive. You will find a person waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. This transfer service is included in all our study packages.
